Dave Alan Butts

April 29, 1955 - February 6, 2011

HOWARDWICK GRAVESIDE SERVICES - 2:00 pm on Friday, February 11, 2011 in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon with Rev. Dave Stout, Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Howardwick, officiating.

INTERMENT - Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon. Mr. Butts was born April 29, 1955 in Amarillo to Oscar Albert Butts Jr. and Theda "Penny" Featherston Butts. He had been a resident of Howardwick since 1993. He had worked in construction and as a farmer and rancher as well as working for the Department of Defense. He was a member of the Clarendon Church of Christ.

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - both of his parents in 2009.

SURVIVORS - one daughter, Alissa Atkinson and husband Grant of Amarillo; one sister, Patricia Beach and husband Ronnie of Olathe, Kansas: three grandchildren, Audrey Hatcher, Ethan Atkinson, Emma Atkinson; and two nieces, Sarah Kershner of Nagshead, NC and Jessie Beach of Sherman Oaks, CA.
