Winfield Burton “Jack” Cooper, Jr. was born on July 4, 1954 to Winfield Burton “Jack” Cooper and Virginia Lee Boyd Cooper, in Los Angeles County, CA.

He passed away on July 15, 2025 in Noble, OK after a brief illness.

Jack graduated with the Class of ’73 at Pampa High School. In 1984, he married Cheryl D'Amico in Amarillo. They were married for over 40 years. After serving his country for 37 years in the Army, Jack retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.

Jack is preceded in death by both parents, a stepmother Wanda Elaine Cooper, and a brother-in-law Larry Nabors. He is survived by his wife Cheryl, a sister Gail Nabors, a stepson Michael Rascoe, a stepdaughter Melissa Blankenship, and two grandchildren Chris and Victoria.
