Ricky Don King

November 13, 1954 - January 23, 1974

Funeral services are sceduled for 2.p.m. Friday in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel for Ricky Don King, 19, 1137 S. Christy, who died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in his home following a lengthy illness.

The Rev. Claude Cone, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. 

Mr. King was born Nov. 13, 1954 in Pampa, and attended the Pampa Public Schools. He was a member of Barrett Baptist Church.

Survivors other than his wife include one son, Christopher S., of the home; his father, Tommy King, Pampa; his mother, Mrs. Jean Dye, Henryetta, Okla; one sister, Mrs. Mona James, Claremore, Okla.; three stepbrothers, Thomas Lewis, Houston, and Allen and Billy Lewis, both of Pampa; grandmothers, Mrs. Amanda King, Pampa, and Mrs. Billie Walker, Henryetta.

He is survived by his wife, Sue King, of the home; one son, Christopher King, of the home; his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Emory Dye, of 201 W. Jefferson, Henryetta; his father, Tommy Lee King, Pampa; one sister, Mrs. Lamona Hames, Claremore; his grandmothers, Mrs. Audie Walker, Henryetta, and Mrs. Amanda King, Pampa; an uncle, Donald H. Walker, Dewar; and an aunt, Mrs. Ruby Malone, Mounds.
