Jayne Ann McCausland Stroud

June 9, 1956 - September 8, 2010

Jayne Ann Stroud passed away on September 8, 2010, in Amarillo, after a lengthy illness.

Jayne is survived by her husband, Richard Stroud, of Pampa; her sisters, Joanne Weaver, of Georgetown and Jennifer Schue, of Plano; her father, John P. McCausland, of Orlando, Fla.; her four nieces and eight nephews; her friend Shelley Reid; her dog, Cotton and all the many other loving and supportive family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce McCausland and her brother, John P. McCausland, Jr.

Jayne was born on June 9, 1956, in London, England. She moved to the United States and Pampa as an infant, with her parents, John and Joyce McCausland. She was a 1973 graduate of Pampa High School and married Richard Stroud on October 20, 1973, in Pampa. Jayne worked for Getty Oil and Texaco for 20 years. She will forever be remembered as a loving wife, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend.

A memorial service will be held at St. Matthews Parish Hall on September 18, at 2 p.m.

In lieu for flowers, donations may be sent to Meals on Wheels in Jayne’s memory.
