James Robert "Jim Bob" Sailor

March 20, 1955 - June 1, 1994

James Robert Sailor, 39, a former Pampa resident died Wednesday, June 1, 1994, in Dallas. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa with the Rev. Duncan Parish, interim minister of the First Christian Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mr. Sailor was born on March 20, 1955 in Pampa. He graduated from Pampa High School in 1973 and from Texas Tech University School of Engineering in 1979 with a degree in architecture. He received numerous honors throughout his career, and was to receive an award June 11 for his design in Monterrey, Mexico. He was an architect and an industrial designer with R.T.K.L. Inc. of Dallas.

He was preceded in death by his mother. Mary Francis Sailor.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, Robert and Clara Sailor of Pampa; a sister, Maryln Sailor of Minnetonka, Minn.; two stepsisters, Kathy Taylor ol Pampa and Brenda Strahan of Oklahoma City; and a step brother, Don Kite Jr. of Oklahoma City.

The family requests memorials to the Hospice of the Panhandle, Box 2782. Pampa, TX 79066.

A remembrance will be held Sunday, June 12, 1994, at 1 p.m. at a James Sailor Design at the AT&T Customer Technology Center in Dallas.
