Harley Douglas "Doug" Woods

May 11, 1955 - April 20, 2009

Services will be at 3:30 PM Friday, April 24, 2009 at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home in the Memorial Chapel, with Reverend Terry Tope officiating.

Mr. Woods was born May 11, 1955 in Amarillo, TX, to Harley O. and Juanita Woods. He passed away on April 20, 2009 due to a motorcycle accident.

He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving from 1973 until 1976.

He married D’Anne Davis on April 13, 1978 in Pampa, TX. Harley (Doug) had been a resident of Pflugerville since 1987. His passion was being able to play with his grandchildren, work in his garden and ride his Victory Motorcycle. He was an amazing father with the biggest heart. Harley was employed by Dresser Wayne for 14 years.

Harley was preceded in death by Mother, Juanita Woods; Brother, Houston Woods; Granddaughter, Brook D’Anne Baldwin; and Sister-in-Law, Darlene Usleton.

Survivors include: his wife, D’Anne Woods of the home; sons, Chris Gilley and wife Stacy of Stephenville, TX, Stephen Woods and fiancée Kaitlyn Fuller of Kingsland, TX; Daughter, Tiffany Baldwin and husband Donnie of Ft Worth; Grandchildren, Julie Woods, Dylan Woods, Wyatt Baldwin, Bailee Woods, Michael Gilley and Darmi Gilley; Father, Harley O. Woods of Pampa; Sisters, Debra Weatherwax of Pampa and Kathy Woods of Pampa; Father and Mother In-Law,  Charles and Nancy Davis of Howardwick; Brother-In-Laws, Danny Davis and wife Julie of Amarillo, and Donnie Davis of Pampa, and numerous nieces and nephews.
