James Pamplin "Jim" Hood

April 11, 1955 - March 19, 1983

Jim Hood, 27, of 1601 W Somerville, died at his home Friday night. Services are pending with Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mr. Hood was born April 11, 1955 in Pampa to Jack and Sonia Hood and was a lifelong resident. He was a 1973 graduate of Pampa High School and attended North Texas State University. He was a member of the First Christian Church, and was a pumper for Kerr-McGee.

Survivors include one daughter, Selina Anne Hood of Pampa; one son, Jared Thomas (J. T.) Hood of Pampa; his father, Jack Hood of Pampa; his mother Sonia Hood of Amarillo; one brother, Don Hood of Lewisville; and his grandmother, Oklahoma Hood of Erick. OK.

He was buried in Erick Cemetery in Erick, OK.
