Donna Rose (King) Anderson

October 26, 1953 – February 24, 2009

SERVICES: 10:00 AM Saturday, February 28, 2009, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Doug Yates, pastor of the Plainview Church of the Nazarene, and Rev. Jimmye Cole, pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene of Pampa, officiating.

BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Anderson was born October 26, 1953 in Coolidge, Arizona. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1961. Donna was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Her grandchildren were her life. She was a devoted Mom and “Nanny.”

SURVIVORS: 3 daughters: Melodie Lane, Angela Alexander and husband James and Mandy Stephenson, all of Pampa; 1 son: Brian Anderson of Pampa; 2 sisters: Carolyn Miller and Debbie Donaldson, both of Pampa; 2 brothers: Calvin King and wife Sharon of Abilene and Paul King of Amarillo; 9 grandchildren: Miranda Davis, Zachary Stephenson, Jared Stephenson, Ashton Alexander, Kade Anderson, Konner Anderson, Darian Alexander, Jasmine Alexander, and Kendall Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Alvin and Golda King; a brother: Alvin Warren King; a sister: Barbara Sparks; a grandson: Ethan Anderson; and her husband: Robert "Lucky" Anderson.
