Bobbi Lynn Murrah Dougless

February 11, 1955 – April 3, 2008

Bobbi Lynn Dougless, 53, of Amarillo died Thursday, April 3, 2008.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., with Ken Haney, chaplain, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Bobbi was born Feb. 11, 1955, to Charles and Mary Lou Murrah in Pampa. She attended Pampa High School. She married James Kirk Dougless in 1983 and remained a devoted wife for 25 years. Together, Bobbi and James had six children. Bobbi was a wonderful mother and a very special Granny who took great pride in her home, welcoming anyone in need with open arms. Bobbi was a joy to all those around her and will be greatly missed.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff of BSA CCU, Hospice and the doctors and nurses for their dedication and the wonderful care they provided for Bobbi. They are greatly appreciated.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary Lou Murrah; and a brother, Charles Leon Murrah.

Survivors include three daughters, Kristi Watson and husband Joe Don of Gainesville, Nicole Ray and husband Jeremy of Amarillo and Amanda Mitchell and husband Buster of Pampa; three sons, James, Robert and Russell Dougless, all of Amarillo; two granddaughters, Shaylee and Ryleigh Summers of Amarillo; and three grandsons, Colten Helfer, Logan Mitchell and Kyler Summers, all of Pampa. Bobbi was a dedicated sister with six siblings: two sisters, Sharon Bennett and husband Harley of Amarillo and Karen Williamson and husband Brian of Missouri; four brothers, Richard Murrah and wife Cheryl of Joshua, Ken Murrah of Colorado, Bill Murrah of Amarillo and Mike Murrah of Gainesville; as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will be at 400 N. Maryland St.
